I'm so sorry you had to go through that -- both just being sick and being inevitably scared (which I know really well) of seeing either a doctor or a hospital. And I'm glad you are home and they gave you the good drugs.

Would it help to know I had my gall bladder out years ago and that it was both the best thing (because I had similar recurring pain) and the easiest surgery I've ever had? (I don't do well under anesthesia either). I wasn't even in for a whole 24 hours and I was back at work in three days. And I'm perfectly happy to never have to have that kind of pain agian.
