I figured everyone would know it was Bucky--the dangers of dramatic irony, oy veh. I'm glad you enjoyed it, though. I love that the second half had a magic in NY quality, because that was what was in my head when I was writing it, thinking of my Christmastime trip there once, though all we got was bone-shattering cold with no snow (all the snow was in DC, piles and piles and piles of it).

I wish there were more fics that had Steve being stroppy and defending others' reputations. That's really a favorite thing of mine, and I just think once the filters came off, he'd be so hilariously annoyed and gallant.
