Oh man... my German has slipped so much from disuse, but I bet even if I were to bone up on it, the fact that the dative ending has all but disappeared would make my abilities even shakier. And how sad about the genitive!

Myself, in English, I'm bemoaning the loss of -an. No more shrank, stank, and so on... sigh. We can fight, but we're probably on the losing side. ;-)
