I think I am missing whatever codec is required to watch most vids, which stalls my good impulses in that direction.

I will send up a fervent prayer for good driving weather for you -- I was in the same boat a couple of weeks ago on my birthday weekend, and drove through some yucky snow/sleet/rain. New all-weather tires are a great gift to the self.
