The first time I saw Daniel Craig was in an amazing British TV series 10 years ago called Our Friends in the North, which followed four friends from Newcastle through from the early '60s to the present. It also starred Christopher Eccleston and was one of the early big breaks in both their careers. Craig has always been to me another in the Sean Bean mould — thinking woman's bit of rough from the north. He was also great in a British TV thriller called the Ice House where he played a police sergeant helping solve a murder. Actually prefer him in the TV stuff to his movies.
