Damn. I was so sure it was Knights in White Satin, which I had conflated with Procol Harem's Whiter Shade of Pale so that when either song plays the mental image I get is of 15 vestal virgins in a room with Knights in white satin. And these knights have arousal problems, thus they "never reach the end".
