You know, as much as I'm a big privacy advocate, I've been agitating everyone I know for many years about why we can't get the fucking backscatter machines in place (what they call full body scanners). I think it would save a lot of trouble and we wouldn't have to practically undress, which is what I think I hate more than anything else. I will say that despite everything and how terrible it was, the people at Continental were pretty nice, all the way around. I wish they hadn't just cancelled my damn plane, but when I had to talk to people, they weren't horrible like a lot of them are. And they did feed us on the plane, which surprised me -- I haven't flown on any airline that still provides meals.
