I stopped watching TB after the Maryann debacle. I knew it would only go downhill after that, and surprise! It has. Save yourself the aggravation.
As for the twin issues on Ringer, consider this: it's badly-written, lowest-common-denominator soap opera. They want the most obvious, easiest narrative tricks possible. There's no thought whatsoever behind it, except when they crib from other sources. They're much too inept at storytelling to influence anyone about anything.
that boat scene has to be the worst rear projection I have ever seen on film, hands down.
