Dental work's always seemed like such a racket--especially here. There are no checks and balances, and you can't really question things. I can't imagine they'd be keen to let the x-rays go to someone else--they generally won't even call your previous dentist to get your history, you just end up starting fresh. It's greed, pure and simple.
