I've never seen 3M Micropore (I think there's another type called Micropure or something, confusing the issue) anywhere but online or from a doctor's office (I got mine from Amazon). It's tan, and comes in a couple different widths--for my face, I use the narrow half inch one. I saw this guy singing its praises on Metafilter the other day and wanted to tell him he's not alone in being a fan of it, because it helped so much when I had the face infection. Get some nonstick pads (both Johnson & Johnson and Curel make them for over the counter sales, McKisson is a doctor's office brand that I think you can get online) and use that tape and you'll be in way better shape, with any luck.
