That cake is so awesome! Did I somehow miss where you mentioned what flavor it is?

UGH, it totally sucks that you ended the party with a migraine! I wonder about vodka possibly being a trigger. I stopped drinking it in my 20s because, while it never triggered an actual migraine, it always gave me horrible headaches. And sometimes combining different kinds of alcohol did, too.
