OMG, courtesy of maechi, I have found out that my spiritual fiance Kevin Alejandro will be joining the cast of True Blood as Lafayette's lover. I am beside myself with joy. I am so beside myself I'm practically another person. I just... how is this even happening? Eeeeee.

Also, and this is completely random, but has been on my mind since Yuletide, I am in love with Damian Lewis's mouth. I want take one of his pillowy lips in my own mouth and alternately bite it and suck on it. What. Like you wouldn't if you had the chance.

We just finished watching the finale of LIFE, and I'm SO SAD it's over. Red-headed men in general don't do much for me, but Damian Lewis is the exception that proves the rule. :)

Definitely share your KA love. I think I first noticed him in Sleeper Cell, and have been sad that most of the parts he's done since then haven't really wowed me (more because of the characters than because of him). I hope this will be it :) It's going to be a long wait for TB to return.

That was definitely a classic example of a show pulling out every stop at the ending and leaving people open-mouthed. I'm still trying to figure out a way to vid the show the way I want to, and focus on that ending. At some point I'll find the right song, I just wish it was now.

Between Damian, Max Martini, and Kevin McKidd, I am no longer prejudiced against men of my own coloring. ;-)

I was so shocked to see him in Sleeper Cell S2! Not what I expected in any way, I'l tell you. But he was awesome as usual. I first noticed him on Alias -- he played a sexy mofo bad guy who was involved in whatever the hell Sydney's sister's name was, who got drawn into the life at the same time she did. I was all "phwoar" but it's been hard, because he rarely gets anything that lasts.

I'll keep my ear out for songs. The first thing that pops in my head is actually an instrumental called "Life In Technicolor" by Coldplay. It's quite short, but it has a slow build and feels tonally appropriate -- it's a little melancholy, but it celebrates life, which is how the show came across to me too.
