I have been searching in vain for years for a butternut squash bisque to match the one the chef who worked in my company cafeteria made about 18 years ago. Seriously. He was a real chef, and his food was great, and that in particular just lives on in my memory. Nothing's ever matched it.
And heee, re the Mexican place here -- that was On The Border, and when we want to go there, we literally just say "hey, wanna go get queso?" and we all know what we're talking about. *g* Next time you're here, we'll definitely go back!
