Sharpe and Teresa (in the movies) – I love them because Teresa is such a strong person and not just another damsel in distress for Sharpe to rescue. And she’s kind of prickly and hard to get to know and she’s not sure about whether she wants to be alone or whether she wants to be with this man to whom she’s incredibly attracted. I love that she teaches Sharpe a lot about being a leader – often only by her own example. And I love that Sharpe finds someone who doesn’t judge him by his accent and his torn coat but by his character and that he lets himself stop being prickly and defensive around her. Also, they’re amazingly hot together :P
