Have seen Avengers: Endgame. If anyone wants to chitchat about it, come find me in comments! (Unless all you have to say is ragey or pissy. I can handle some criticisms, nitpicks, or issues but if all you've got is complaints, right now my life is so stressful and miserable that I border on suicidally depressed and I don't need it. There'll probably be plenty of people who hate it, so you might be better if you seek them out, because I didn't.)

Favorite bits? Stuff you didn't like? I have plenty of opinions to confabulate with.

I know a lot of people have talked about Steve doing that deliberately, and Destina wrote a great Thundershield fic about it, but I just...I hate that kind of thing where an author of a text says that something is true outside the text but they didn't have IN the text (like JK Rowling, etc.). Which is not to say you can't have your headcanon, it just burned me that it was played so coy in the movie and I've never believed it. (I mean, that same scene has Tony making rape jokes, so...) (Also I just hate Joss in general so I'm easily affected and have been nursing a grudge for years. I am pathetic :-D )

For me the best part of that was him and Thor being shield brothers again. Thor's glee about that.

That scene has Issues such that Bruce Wayne's publishing arm has to do the printing.

Thor's glee is worthy. That that manifestation of his power is available to be used is worthy. Steve is worthy. Thanos getting smacked in the head is worthy.

Directors having head canon is not worthy because they've got CGI budgets. Head Canon is for fans as we don't have craft services or matt painters.
