New vid: Pacific Rim

Trying to make a Luther vid has been really difficult for some reason, it's just not jelling for me and I have struggled with it for a while, so to take my mind off of it, I spent the weekend working on a palate-cleanser vid for Pacific Rim. There are so many vids for this song that it's kind of hilarious, but the PR vids were so buried under all the other fandoms that I did it anyway, just because I wanted to. Sometimes you just wanna make a vid that makes you happy, you know?

Anyways, I had fun working on it, and now I can turn my attention to the Luther vid, the other more serious Pacific Rim vid ideas I have, and Festivids! As always, the DL is better quality, but the YT embed is below. (The file size of the DL is pretty large, just to warn you.)

Yeah, what's the deal with the couple of cut-off versions? The song is so effing short! It's a fun movie to vid, I'm really looking forward to making some of my other ideas.

Legend Entertainment ran a teaser contest, IIRC, to boost interest in the spring for the movie. I think the winner was one set to Radioactive, which is how I found it - they linked to it on their Tumblr.

Thank you! It's weird the fandoms most people choose to use this for. Bizarre, actually. Stuff that just doesn't fit at all. I felt like they wrote it for the movie.
