Yes, yes, indeed. Oh, you so must see this show. It's not only the best thing ever on TV, it's got some of the hottest men I've ever seen, and Omar is my favorite. He's gorgeous and cool and he has this magnificent scar across his face. He's the best bad man ever... except maybe the luscious Stringer Bell, who's another stunning specimen of gorgeosity on the show. And that's not even the best picture of Omar, really -- I keep meaning to pull up some others and make icons, but I never seem to remember.
I got that icon in a comment from alexandral, in queenofthorns's LJ -- and I believe sdwolfpup made some Wire icons recently, too. I need to go grab some pics and make one for myself, too, but I'm so damn lazy!
So maybe you copy to tape or DVD and bring this weekend, yes? For those of us who don't have the special channels. And damn, this was the one with Aiden Gillen, who I'd love to see a little of before I have to rent in on DVD after it comes out.
I'll try to remember to bring the disc. A reminder would not go unappreciated just because I can't remember squat these days.
Aiden Gillen is actually in all the eps from S3 on. He's not a particularly engaging character, to me -- none of the pols are my favorites, I much prefer the cops and dealers in terms of storyline, but everything is very intertwined so you can't really not have them in there. He does a very good American accent, though slips occasionally. He still shows a lot of the mannerisms of Stewart -- he tends to bounce on his feet when he walks, and almost... well, sashays! And has that comeon grin. In the last ep I watched, I was reminded how incredibly wee he is -- when he sits at this table, it comes up to his shoulders. He looked like a little kid at the big kids' table.
Also, Seasons 1-3 are out on DVD, and Christy is recording the new season for me (which is why I'm a few eps behind, as it's better to record two per discs).

And I might need to tweak my downloading schedule a bit, I'm only up to the first half of season 3 ;)
