Anyone want a little tablet?

I forgot to mention in my last post--I have this tablet that I got for "free" when I got my last phone which ended up of course not being free at all and I never wanted the damn thing, but they signed me up for it anyway. Not that I'm bitter. But I waited out my contract with the shifty bastards and now I have this extra tablet I didn't want or use. It's on the Sprint network, but I imagine someone with any skills could jailbreak it.

It's an Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 7, and it's never been used--I took it out of the box to see what it was like, because I'd never used Android before. It's a small screen, more like an ereader or iPad mini, about 7 inches (I think people call this more like a phablet, which...yikes, what an atrocious word), and has a has a camera (that supposedly takes pretty decent pictures?) and a microSD slot. Only has about 4 GB of storage but comes with a lot of apps preinstalled. 20 bucks and shipping and it's yours.

Ugh, my face is so painful. My sensitivity to adhesives made the whole area around the cauterized wound on my fave turn into thick, orange-rind-like skin, and it's suppurating, which is gross. I dug out the really good tape I discovered that's the only thing that doesn't give me burnlike patches, but everything's too far gone and my skin is so itchy and swollen that I can't see well out of my right eye. I had to leave our fan gang's Christmas bash early because all my spots hurt so much, but especially my face. Why do I have to be such a special damn snowflake? They finally believed me about the excessive bleeding, but now I'm still dealing with reactions to the bandages.

I'm super sorry about your poor face! there's absolutely no rush in sending the tablet; wait until the new year if that works best for you. actually, that would work best for me as well, as it should probably go to my office and we're closing for Winter Break (my home mailbox is small, and I hate packages on the doorstep, as I always worry about theft). so I'll message you with my office address, and I can PayPal you the $20 right now if you'd like, then whenever you get around to it, let me know what postage ran

Ugh, I'm so sorry that your face is in pain. I hope there's a remedy out there that will help with the swelling and itching. :(

Arrrgh, adhesives. When I had my abdominal incisions, it turned out that the tape--and the too-powerful bandaids I tried later, as an ill-advised replacement--left raw patches that were worse than any of the incisions! D'oh.

I'm so sorry about your allergic reaction and that you had to leave your party early because of the pain. That sucks mightily.
