[livejournal.com profile] sweet_ali posted in an earlier thread here that ABC has cancelled Miracles and won't be showing next week's Skeeter drinkin', fightin', and sexin' episode, nor probably the other ones. I went over to TWoP and sho nuff it's gone. I feel like crying or throwing up, or both.

Or maybe killing someone at ABC. Fuck those fucking fuckball fuckwits. I hate them with the blinding hatred of a thousand white hot fucking suns. I wish them to be smited with some kind of syphilitic condition where their brains (what little puny excuses for brains they have) rot horribly and their innards boil and they end up crippled with a lingering death and immobility, imprisoned in their own bodies, drooling like the cretinous fuckwits they are and soiling themselves in perpetuity.

Oh. I'm sorry. Did I say something bad?

Hey, if you need a partner in crime, i'd be up for it. I still resent ABC for cancelling My So-Called Life,Cupid, and for only giving Peter Berg's Wonderland one episode. Bastards... Yet, i'm sure According to Jim will be back for another bland, eye-gougingly poorly acted season. I will never understand these network decisions...

On April Fools Day Teevee.org did a send-up of ABC total reality TV lineup. Maybe they weren't joking.

Man this sucks -- so many shows ending this year and nothing on the horizon. Am cranking up the DVds and taking my advertising $ and am going home.

Anyone have a link to the full Variety article. My local ABC affilate is still showing Miracles on for next Monday.

here's what I pulled from Variety's web page:

ABC debunks 'Miracles,' drops drama
Show is 6th freshman series axed by net this season

By MICHAEL SCHNEIDER
Apparently, ABC's "Miracles" needed one. The Alphabet web has yanked the drama off its schedule for the remainder of the season, opting to air repeat segs of "The Practice" on Mondays at 10 p.m. for the time being.... SUBSCRIBE NOW TO KEEP READING"

Fuck.

It's your fault, you know. I started watching it on your rec, and decided it was worth sticking with, and anything I like gets cancelled.

I'm sorry!

(hangs head in shame)

But it was really good! Maybe if we're lucky they'll throw it on in summer when they have nothing else to show and the war footage isn't getting ratings. I"m not holding my breath, but dammit, Jo and I have a vid planned!

A friend of mine sent me this note about Miracles:

"I think my television's already dead! I'll have to resuscitate it with
videotape copies of old Buffy episodes. At least I have my savior, good old
"Law and Order" with endless formulaic reruns. Now that I think about it, Morgan, you acted
kind of like a bad drug dealer, getting me hooked on "Miracles" and then not
being able to get me any more "product." I think I'm starting to get the shakes."
