Happy birthday, dear Sandy...

Happy birthday to you! Today is sherrold's birthday, and as some of you may know, she's been going through a pretty damn bad time. I would like to propose this to add some extra oomph to my birthday greetings: Post a Happy Birthday, Sandy message in my comments, with a nice slashy icon (a pairing from one of her shows if you got 'em or any pairing you like, doesn't have to be sexy, but would be best if it has the two pairing folks in it). Then I'll send her the link so she can peruse all the icony goodness.

She is the original fannish butterfly, and has dabbled in many pursuits, but some of her slash fandoms have included Star Trek, The Professionals, Blake's 7, Due South (Ray Vecchio, sorry!), The Sentinel, Highlander (dude, I can't believe I forgot that), Miami Vice, Wiseguy, Popslash, Magnificent 7 (just a little), The X-Files, Hercules/Xena, Horatio Hornblower, Stargate SG-1, The Jossverse shows, Numb3rs (she's one of my fellow Coop fans!), and most currently Stargate Atlantis.

Leaving in about an hour to go to the airport, then hopefully off to Vividcon. Aaaiiieeee!!!! :panics:

I hate flying!! I've never flown on American before! I thought it would be a fairly empty plane being a redeye and all, but it's totally full! And stuff!

I'm sure my flist will be at skip eleventythousand by the time I get back, so don't do anything interesting, y'all, okay?

I think this wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have my beloved kind and gentle-hearted co-worker's leaving today on my mind. Not to mention the failure that's imminent at the premieres show.

But thank you to the anonymous person who gifted me with the four-leaf clover and the kind words. I hope you are right, but no matter what, it was very sweet.
