gwynSometimes I don't even do two posts in one week, let alone two in one day. But I have to get all this stuff done so I can go see the sneak peek of Hidalgo tonight! Wheee... Viggo and horsies, and it's free!
I finally finished that Buffy story I kept yammering about. I kept referring to it as the experimental piece -- I wanted to play with normal prose rules and had become interested in some of the prose poetry and flash fiction tricks out there in the writing community at large. It's not either of those things, but I was interested in the way some of the newer writing forms allow you to play with punctuation, structure, and narrative rules, which is what I was trying to do here. Probably most people, if they even get farther than the first section, will think I was on crack (but it was really *good* crack!), but anyway. It also interested me to play around with the religious implications of Buffy's death in The Gift. I know it makes me a little repetitive and unoriginal, but I keep finding myself drawn to that episode as a jumping off point for what-if AUs based around or after it.
