Panel on HLPs
Feb. 20th, 2007 09:01 amJust got confirmed that the panel on Heterosexual Life Partners I wanted to do is set for Sat at 2 p.m. in the (I hope I got the rooms right) little room off to the side that isn't a subzero meat locker. I am going to host it with
mlyn. Sadly, I don't have time to get source for Scrubs, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do, but I do at least have a Rome disc I can bring with me. If anyone reading this is going, and you can bring any Scrubs at all, that would be great (looks longingly at
gattagrigia ).
Bring your HLP and try to convince us!
Though, hopefully, I will still be going. Right now, I'm wondering. I heard a crash last night and got up to see what it was, and noticed Emma had just used her litterbox, and there was obvious blood in her urine. Usually she covers it so I can't see, but hadn't this time. She's barely moved off the couch since then, and isn't eating. I don't think it's related to her throwing up again last night, because she often seems fine after that. But she's clearly not herself, and I have to see if I can get her in, but what we'll find, and whether it can be addressed with me leaving in two days, is negligible. I am very worried, I guess because bad things seem to happen around Escapade for anyone I love. And I had a really freaksome dream last night after I'd gotten up, where this guy I used to know brought me a kitten, and I tried to introduce it to Emma and she bit it in half and ate it so fast I couldn't see what was happening. Then later she threw it up, as well as a sock toy. And believe it or not, that wasn't even the most disturbing part of the dream. Poor little orange and white kitten!

Date: 2007-02-20 07:22 pm (UTC)Emma peed again a little bit ago and it didn't look pink, but she's still not eating or moving around. I just don't know what to do, since it's such a trauma taking her to the doc. arg.

Date: 2007-02-20 10:40 pm (UTC)If that's it it's good news. Easily treatable with antibiotics and not life threatening like it is for males.
I hope that's it. :::hugs you::: :::pets Emma:::

Date: 2007-02-21 01:05 am (UTC)(In a different vein, I think your HLP panel is a FABULOUS idea. Is it just same-sex HLPs?)
