Yeah, I watched Good Omens and liked it okay (I haaaated David Tennant back in the day but then I inured myself to his stupid face in Broadchurch. The accent helped.) but I definitely had the sense that I was missing a lot by not being a book fan. (I seem to like Neil Gaiman's ideas a lot but I really don't like his written work.) I think it is missing something if you don't read the book, and after trying for so many years, I can't say I intend to do that anymore. It was fine; a lot of my friends are squeeing hard and I'm glad for them, but it's not gonna be my big new (old) fandom like it is for so many others.
