It's hard though because we're literally copying drawings to do, like, an elephant, and using the shapes like cylinders and circles and such, and I still come out with these ugly deformed things. I mostly cry when I'm frustrated, and I feel that whole "oh shit I'm gonna cry" thing coming on every time I try. And negative shapes just baffles me--I can see them, and I can draw them, but how you're supposed to put that together to make something recognizable...feh.

I had this idea that I might be able to do this, and since it's getting harder physically to write because of my wrists, this was a creativity outlet, but...I don't seem to have any facility for it, judging by the other people in the class. I had this dream of maybe doing fanart, since I don't know how long writing will happen, and I haven't been able to vid for some time. I'm going to try some other classes, but I don't know to expect.

Did you take classes, or just strike out on your own? Had you ever drawn before?
