Date: 2024-10-27 01:00 am (UTC)Thanksgiving has never been a big deal for me or my family other than sharing a meal together but this year I was weepy about it. Just that loss of my family unit not being together anymore.
That reading club sounds really interesting. I'll have to see if there's something similar in my area. There use to be a colouring meet up prior to the pandemic where we get together in a restaurant to have lunch, talk and colour. It was so much fun and low key social activity. Sadly it disbanded and I haven't been able to find an alternative to it.
