Last of the premiering vids: Havoc in Heaven

This is the final one of my premiering vids from Vividcon, made for the Auction for the lovely and wonderful killa. It's for the movie Sunshine, starring Chris Evans, Cillian Murphy, and Michelle Yeoh, among others. It was a treat to make a vid for killa and for this trippy, fascinating, gorgeous movie that I love.

A couple warning notes: there are some bright and flashing lights in the vid, as well as some blood and the aftermath of a suicide. A higher quality DL is available at my vids site.

I have no idea what the source is about, but good god, this is pretty. And I love, love, love the song. You find some of the best music.

Oh, thank you! The movie is just stunning. It kind of goes wildly off the rails in the last third, but it's fascinating and unlike anything else out there, and so, so pretty. I can't take credit for the song this time! Killa had played it to me when she was bidding on me for the auction, saying she thought it needed to be a Sunshine vid, and it immediately pinged all my synesthesia buttons like mad. I can't even imagine doing anything else for that movie now!

Oh, yes, thank you--I totally forgot about the blood part! I put a note in the AO3 and Tumblr pages about the lights, but I completely forgot the other. Honestly, I kinda didn't expect anyone to want to look at it! I'm so happy you liked it, that really made me happy--we're a small group who love this movie, but a good one!

Oh what an utterly gorgeous vid! I now want to see the entire film and then see your vid AGAIN to get it beyond pretty...mesmerized...real pretty!!! And the song is pretty but also haunting. Seems real appropriate!

Aw, thank you! I was bonding with bironic over it after the Auction show, about how it's like 2/3 great and then kinda goes off the rails in the last third, but it's still really cool even when it does. It's a stunning movie and killa picked an amazing song that felt perfect for it. Plus all those amazing actors with their incredible faces.

It's really worth a rewatch, I think. It gets a little cray, but that first 2/3 is so wonderful.
