Of course, when I finally thought, well, I'll ask my big strapping neighbor for help and bite the bullet and buy a portable air conditioner, there are none to be had anywhere in Seattle. It's so bad and only expected to get worse. I found an evaporative air cooler, and that hurt to pay for, but when it gets super hot here, the humidity drops so low that I think it would work, and maybe give me at least a tiny bit of relief. Of course, it won't be delivered for weeks.

It's sapping my will to live and my ability to write.
