Since my brain has been parboiled enough by the heat to stay home from work, I'm following dragolyn's lead and doing a meme (which I normally don't do, but I have nothing else to update the journal with except bubbling over with how much I adore Queer Eye for the Straight Guy).

It really is just too damn hot. My house is already near 90 and I've had the windows open all day.

The saddest thing about my iced tea addiction is that when i couldn't keep up with it by brewing tea, I had to learn to like the powdered instant stuff. I've always thought my twin and I were actually separated from our real siblings at birth and that we're not related, except that we share this iced tea addiction and when she hadn't been here for years to visit, she asked me on the way from the airport, "do you have any iced tea mix" and I said, well, yeah, and she said, "Lipton?" and I went, duh! We're sad, sad people.

I'd love to get together, hopefully it'll be cooler!

The lengths I have to go to get Alphabits here in my neck of the woods is extraordinary. You know you're hooked when you'll drive somewhere just to get it.
