gwynI keep wanting to write this essay on Buffy but can't seem to concentrate, so am doing a meme. How lame is that?
What's on your bedside table?
My different glasses and cases, a clock radio, a lamp, and the perpetual Kleenex. Kiehl's lip balm.
What's the geekiest part of your music collection?
What constitutes geeky, I wonder? Sixties schmaltz pop, like the Association or 5th Dimension? Got it. Classical or opera? Got lots of that. Skinny-tie rock from the 80s? Got that too... Maybe it would be my disc of TV stars singing bad pop, such as Shatner's Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, and so on.
What do you eat when you raid the fridge at night?
I've never done this. But if I did, it would probably be cereal.
What is your secret guaranteed weeping film?
I have no idea. I guess the English Patient has the highest regular crying ratio.
If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done?
Get a chin. And an eye-lift.
Do you have a completely irrational fear?
Well, being afraid of spiders is pretty dumb, when you think about it.
What is the little physical habit that gives away your insecure moments?
Laughing.
Do you ever have to beg?
Hm. I don't know. I'd have to see about that.
Do you have too many love interests?
Depends -- fantasy or reality? In reality, I have none; in fantasy, I have a cast of thousands.
Do you know anyone famous?
Yes.
Describe your bed.
Um... not much to describe. Just a deep mattress high up off the floor, queen size.
Spontaneous or plan?
Both -- but heavy on the planning side once the spontaneous idea is agreed upon.
Who should play you in a movie about your life?
There aren't a lot of actresses who are incredibly tall, very ugly, slightly overweight but not enormously so, and have no chins or distinguishable facial features in their bland Scandahoovian faces, so...
Do you know how to play poker?
No.
What do you carry with you at all times?
Keys.
How do you drive?
Very fast, aggressively, and very, very skillfully. I was born to drive.
What do you miss most about being little?
Not having periods and the resulting misery-inducing cramps and monumental depressions.

Hate it.

White and blue mostly.
What was the last song you were listening to?
The music to Harry Nilsson's The Point, which is one big song.

Yes, a few.

Yeah. Fat lot of good it did.

No, and no. People have been telling me all my life what a loser I am, and I've pretty much bought into the program.

A few, a long time ago. Not interested.

Har har. I'm about as opposite cute as could be.

I try to be, but people usually tell me that I'm not, so my image of what I want to be and what others think is dissonant.
