merricatk! I am very grateful for the chance to get to know you this past year. We are suffering from different losses, but I have appreciated your understanding and support, the words of wisdom (and they are wise), and the chance to commiserate with someone who gets what it's like to suddenly find yourself in hell, and have to figure out how to keep going. You've been a big part of what has kept me going. I know that your birthday may not be exactly happy, but I do hope that there is some lightness in it.
I treasure my bit of Coney Island, and hope someday I can come out and experience the real thing together.
