and still more fuckity!
Aug. 11th, 2007 11:37 pmHaving a great time at VVC. Charlie Jade vid seemed to go over well, with lots of interested people asking how to get it. Jo and Keiko, I'm calling youuuuu.
But alas, my cold turned into massive congestion that morphed into the sorest throat I've ever had outside of strep throat, and I was looking forward to singing Love Boat(Jo and Christy's infamous, sick Oz vid) at karaoke and then I couldn't do much besides make gestures and shove Jo at the mic. Killa, Sandy, and Melina helped us out, though. Still, it really made me sad cuz I wanted to sing... and act silly with Jo, who only drunkenly volunteered last year. Still, I got Sandy to agree to sing Roll to Me next year. That's of the win.
Most people are off having fun and room parties, but I'm back here, gargling with salt water some more, and heading off to early bed. I have basically no voice left, just a small squawk, and people are frustrated trying to talk to me because there's this constant could of loud voices around that I can't overcome.
Best part was giving Justacat flowers from the media cannibals for remastering so many of our Professionals vids. She was so surprised, and so touched, and embarassed, but what the hell. If you can't embarass your friends... and she had been having a less than wonderful day, so that made it even better.
The Dexter vids at this con are all just awesome. Lots of great vids to unusual fandoms in the premiere show, too, but more about another time when i no longer feel like my head is being flash-fried.
