For those of you who, like me, have found their enthusiasm for the election sadly tempered by the results of Proposition H8 in California, this article might help shore your hopes a tiny bit. I don't know if it will work, if it can be done, but wouldn't it be great if it would (and also, I love thinking of the money those hateful fuckers spent being completely wasted by the overturn of something that violates human rights. Hit you in your pocketbooks since that's about the only thing you really understand, you right-wing religious motherfucking cretinous civil-rights violating shithead bastardsevil jackasses)?

I don't know what/if things can be done about the other states passing anti-human rights initiatives because I confess, the South scares the crap out of me and I don't keep up with their politics as much. If you know, please pass on a link.

And on a more hopeful note, mlyn passed on this video of the big party that erupted in Seattle last night. Yeah, who'd expect Journey to move people to such heights? If I wasn't so afraid of large mobular crowds (thank you, WTO!), I would have probably rushed up there to join the fun.
