But I think it's really, really important to remember that the group of people griping is still incredibly small compared to the silent majority who had a great time. Most of the folks who came out of this year's show were really happy with it, and if you let that craptastic minority rule the game, then... we all lose, even the quiet, appreciative majority. I don't want them to win -- I think it's important to address the issues that keep coming up, but if we just stop participating, and don't address them, and don't come to the con, then the fundamentalists win and we're all the poorer for it.

Not that, you know, I don't get the whole thing about not wanting to add more shit to your life. But you know that *I* would disappointed, and so would a lot of other folks who never really speak up.
