Oh, I haven't thought about this movie in ages. I remember it as lovely and joyous in a low-key way, with terrific chemistry between its stars. And yes, young Paul Gross was a sight to behold, with that perpetual toothpick sticking out of his mouth, a habit that would have irritated me to distraction except it looked so pretty and sort of endearing in him.
