Behind a bit in the LFN news dept., sorry. It looks like S4 is still on schedule for the 25th of this month, though I'm not holding my breath, considering the even more significant amount of music they used on the series that season, not to mention some of the unpublished music used exclusively on the show, like Unglued. But I will hope, anyway.

And there's news about S5 -- at least they're not going to yank our chain and make us wait another year and a half for the final 8 eps:

I miss this show so much. I miss Angel, and Buffy, and Firefly. I feel like I'm stuck in the past, but nothing has the same zing for me as my older fandoms. I fear becoming this tiresome person who keeps vidding and writing dead shows and dried-up old fandoms forever, but... it was the older things on my list of Gone, but not forgotten on the sidebar that really made me happy.

I think I need some serious remember whening... preferably with a drink in hand. Remember when me, people!

Honey, at least you branch out!

I miss Beauty and the Beast, Moonlighting, The X-Files, Buffy, Angel, Profit, Invasion (they just cancelled it!) And so many other shows. I remember them with a great deal of love and laughter.

Remember when Cordelia wish everybody into an alternate universe and Xander and Willow were vampires. And Xander wore eyeliner and was pretty and Willow threw lit matches on Angel. And Buffy had scars on her face and spit shined her boots. Good times!

Now that's what I'm talkin' about!

Oh, and wasn't it great when Giles smashed the amulet because he believed that the other universe had to be better than theirs? And later Anya conned Willow into doing the spell to get her amulet back, and Will told her to look in the cushions of the sofa in hell?

Good times.

And the way Oz woke up naked in a field and looked around and said, "Huh."

And when he called his aunt Maureen to ask if Jordy was a werewolf? "And when did that happen? No, no reason. Yeah, I gotta go. Love to Uncle Ken."

Swear to Bob, Oz can get more emotion out of casual and mellow than anyone. Yum.

yes... and remember when he first found out about vampires in Surprise? How he just said, "That explains a lot." Because he was so cool. And how he brought the gem of Amara to Angel and they asked if those two were always that talkative, and he responded with "sometimes we're even laconic"? Because he rocked.

Fandoms never die until we forget them. In fact, I think the fic and vids for fandoms become richer once the shows are off the air. People don't need to worry about being contradicted by the next episode anymore.

Once the Man gives up on our heros and heras - then they become all ours.
