I felt really lucky that I had such a nice ER doc and nurse. It could have been so much worse at a place like that. Does your opthalmologist have anyone he can rec to you for other stuff? Of course, I suppose that it might be awkward if you ask him about a doc for girly stuff... ;-)

you know what was fun, though? I'd always wanted to take a ride on a gurney -- it always seemed like fun to ride along through the halls in a bed. And it was! Since it was like 4 am, there was hardly anyone there, so we got to go quite fast.
