mlyn again. Wow, you guys are so amazing with the feedback. I won't reply because all those wonderful comments have gone straight to her, so I don't need to pass on anything. Just know that I *know* she appreciates the good wishes and thoughts, so thank you.

I went back over to the hospital to drop off some clothes, and she wasn't back in the room yet (it having been around 2 hrs since she'd gone into surgery). I inquired at the surgery check-in desk as to her status, and they said she was in recovery and I could wait for her to get back to her room. Unfortunately I have a bushel of prior engagements for this afternoon, so I couldn't. I passed the update along to feochadn.

I'm guessing that if she was in recovery, all went well. If it had been more serious they probably would have told me something different (right?).

I hear some people will be visiting her later today, and I'll probably see her tomorrow if not pick her up from the hospital. In any case, the next thing you'll read in this LJ will probably be from the lady herself.
