Date: 2006-11-27 03:49 pm (UTC)Well, there is much more snow up north, but the roads are pretty clear. It sounds like I-5 is mostly having problems to the south, where they have more ice.
I left the apartment this morning and there was still a lot of snow on the pavement of the side streets and my parking lot, but there was no trouble on I-5. The worst part was the parking lot of the Park and Ride, but it was startlingly empty this morning. I think people either decided to extend the weekend or are making excuses to stay home. It took absolutely NO time to get to work this morning.
I think you should at least attempt the trip, and I don't think you'll have any problems, as long as you leave this morning; they're expecting a bit more snow this afternoon, they said, so my commute home should be interesting, but they're saying it'll all be gone by tomorrow.
