For my, what? Three flist fellow Miami Vice fans, mlyn sent me this publicity pic this morning and it is so, so cute! (If only there were a photo like this of Don and Edward James Olmos! My little Crockett/Castillo heart would burst.) I thought I'd seen pretty much all the Vice publicity, but I have never seen this one.

I have the first season of MV and one of these days, money permitting, I'll get the others (not sure if they're all available yet).

Wow, I have no MV icons. Must fix that. I wouldn't get to use them often, but I think they should be a part of icon wardrobe! *G*

Oh, god, don't get me started. A long time ago, I tried to collect the episodes I needed on tape for a vid, and then a friend of mine borrowed the most crucial ep and lost it. There was no way to ever get a decent copy again. Then the first two seasons came out on disc, and nothing was heard again for over a year. Three and Four just came out a couple weeks ago, finally, but 5 isn't slated until late June, so I won't be able to get it in time to make a vid for Vividcon like I'd love to.

Still, I was able to incorporate 1&2 into the vid M'lyn and I just did, which is a car-chase action vid for the dance show at VVC. We can't show it yet since it's a premier, but if you wanted to beta it for us, I wouldn't mind! I don't have as much Vice as I wish I could have used, but the good car chases were in later seasons, really. We have mostly movies, including the three F&Fs, and Professionals and S&H for nostalgic carness.

Wow! That is an incredibly generous offer and normally I would be salivating and whining for an ETA, but...right now I'm having problems with my computer. I'm operating on safe mode at the moment and have no audio. I was also having car trouble and that took more cash than I was comfortable parting with. So! until I can get someone from the Geek Squad over to finish fixing what I couldn't, I have to suffer along with no audio, a few functions that don't work and big, blown up visuals.

Hey, at least I still have a computer and the internet. Maybe a couple of more weeks until I can get the damn thing fixed properly.

But thank you so much. I'll really be looking forward to seeing the vid!

Well, I tried in my own lame way to help on the fic front a few years ago, but the vid front has eluded me until this year. Now that the S5 discs may actually come out (though I don't quite believe, since Universal sux), I may finally be able to make my vid.
