SORRY FOR THE ALL CAPS SCREAMING BUT HE'S HOME. BLUES IS HOME!!!!!!!!!!!

I HAD TO TAKE OLIVE TO THE EMERGENCY VET BECAUSE SHE HAD AN ABCESS THAT BURST AND IT WAS LOOKING VERY BAD AND I DIDN'T WANT TO WAIT TILL TOMORROW. AND POOR KID HAD A ROUGH TIME BUT SHE WAS A TROUPER AND WE CAME HOME AND I LET HER OUT OF THE CARRIER AND THEN I HEARD THIS LOUD, LOUD MEOWING AND I THOUGHT THAT THE DRUGS HAD TOTALLY CHANGED HER PERSONALITY AND THEN I REALIZED IT WAS BLUES. HE WAS AT THE FRONT DOOR AND HE RACED IN AND I DROPPED DOWN TO MY KNEES AND I CRIED AND TRIED TO CUDDLE HIM BUT HE WOULDN'T LET ME BECAUSE HE WANTED TREATS! HE HEARD THE TREAT BAG AND THAT WE WERE HOME AND HE IS FINE. I WAS GIVING UP, I REALLY WAS.

MORE LATER WITH DETAILS ONCE I CALM DOWN.

Thank you so much again for all your help. I honestly don't know what brought him home -- the fact that it had been cold and wet on Saturday and he finally decided to adventure home, or if it was the pee, or the putting my dirty laundry all over the house so he could scent it, or scattering his litter around, or what... maybe even a combo of all of the above. And just ... I have no idea where he was, but he seems fine and was totally, "what's the prob?" about everything when I was sobbing all over him. The butthead. But thank you again for all the advice. It really helped to have something to at least try.
