I cried harder after the second viewing because it is the end of canon for the group I loved and gritted my teeth through the bullshit parts, only for them to sandbag Steve/Bucky in such an egregious manner and contradict themselves all over the place with timey-wimey shenanigans. I'm sorry that fic isn't a happy place for you, either, because that's the smallest glimmer I have going for me.
