Eh, I don't know how promising they were--I think they mostly don't want to flat out discourage you, so they send you to someone else. It's the one that's the only really encouraging one but I'm so freaked out I can't write--I keep staring at blank pages and not getting anything done. It's almost three weeks now. This is pathetic. Three decades of feeling like you're nothing is really hard to overcome--these are the times where having a life partner would be good. Most of the time I'm content to be single, but right now, I'm really feeling the emptiness.
