5.4 - My 3 big takeaways from this episode are 1) Oh, Dewey. So awful, yet so weirdly sympathetically pathetic 2) Danny Strong is super, super creepy 3) My delight in seeing Dave Foley has no bounds. Foley is such a great mix of polite and cold-blooded; it's a surprise he didn't get tapped for more bad-guy roles after this, frankly.

5.5 - Alan Tudyk is effectively very scary. Imagine what this season could have been if HE'd been Daryl Crowe (and he wouldn't have had to fake the accent, either)...

Finding Theo Tonin in the warehouse crate was one of the absurdly funny touches that this show can pull off when it should seem out of place and yet somehow works in the story. Very much a "this might as well happen" kind of vibe. And, yep, nice to see Adam Arkin again. I missed him quite a lot after Life ended.

Raylan also gets to scarier than usual when he threatens Picker. Another glimpse into what a lucky break everyone got that he didn't follow Arlo down the crime road. Of course, he then blows the whole point of the threat by admitting his not-quite guilt to Art, but I guess they both knew that Art knew anyway.

Ugh, the Crowes. I am super pissed about the needless death of Jean Baptiste. He was the only interesting one in the whole FL crew. And I couldn't care less about the damn kid, altho the actor playing him did good work.
