My Yuletide fic

For Yuletide this year, I was once again assigned Kings, which is a fandom I've written for a few times for various challenges (and vidded for challenges, too). I was really happy that I not only wrote 8,080 words while in terrible pain and having a lot of work, but that I somehow managed to do an interpretation of one of the recipient's prompts, which was somewhat oblique but my story kind of achieved. I wish I could have written treats, but it's been a few years since I've done that.

I'm laughing a lot too about my main gift--reveals...well, revealed that it was written by przed, who has written for me before and for whom I've written twice. Maybe she and I should just start our own Yuletide subchallenge or something! przed, I loved my story, and I hope it gave you a good laugh when you got your assignment. 😍

Now on to write the finishing chapters of Reverie. I know no one cares about it, but goddammit, I'm not going to leave another WIP unfinished.

I was ecstatic to get assigned you! I've had the beginnings of the story sketched out since I noticed you request The Adjustment Bureau a couple of years ago (I like the movie a lot, but LOVE Mackie's Harry Mitchell), but had never had time to work on it fully. So, it was fun to finally have time and reason to really run with the concept. I'm so happy you enjoyed the story!

I've got your Kings story bookmarked. Looking forward to reading it.

That is SO LOVELY!!! What a fantastic idea. I feel like his face should be such a selling point to any fandom, and yet I've always had trouble convincing people to try it--I will be pointing them directly to this from now on!

I did a banner for a YT fic a couple of years ago, so thought I'd give it another shot this year. Then I found that pic, and yowza! He really should be a big selling point on that movie.

I have the DVDs but have yet to watch this show! I need to remedy that because I want to read the fic so badly!

I feel like it’s a pretty quick watch, in that on the DVDs, the episodes are under 45 minutes, and there’s only 13 of them. The pilot is a two-part episode so that one’s the longest, but everything else goes pretty quickly. And it really takes off after about the fourth episode, that’s when a lot of intrigue, and the changing loyalties of people, start kicking in. I hope you get a chance to watch it!
