Pursuant to yesterday's post about Steve and Bucky and their feelings for each other, I have been wondering this for a long time and it's driving me crazy. Where is the porn from the first movie based around Bucky's insanely suggestive line, "But you're keeping the outfit, right?" Because I can never ever watch that and the way Steve smiles and not think they had to know how insanely slashy that was. It begs for porn, but I don't even have the slightest idea of how to find it. When I've tried to search on date of publication, because I'd assume there would have been some after the movie came out, I can't find anything.

However, I'm a terrible searcher. I just do not get how to search for things like that on AO3, hell, I can barely search on a fandom and pairing. It's just not intuitive. And also, how the hell do you search for something based on a phrase like that?

Someone out there's got to have read smutty fic based around that scene, right? In the words of Steve Rogers, please don't make me do this. I don't want to write it, I want to read it.

One of my biggest and lingering disappointments is how little porn that line generated. It should have meant hundreds of stories! But somehow, no. Sigh.

Storiesfortravellers gave me some links in my LJ post, but all of them took place with the uniform he was still wearing after the rescue. None of them seemed to be about the meaning of that line in that timeframe and that situation. Plus they were almost all really short and not porny!

I am terrible at writing porn. Plus I hate having to write something I'd much rather read. But man, I am just bewildered by why there isn't tons of this out there.

Hey, I just realized, you were on your trip when I did this, but I wrote some "you're keeping the outfit" porn. I can't say it's good enough to make up the difference in how little there is in the world, but I kept thinking about it--and you!

I still don't understand why there aren't hundreds of stories around this. I have seen at least one more uniform porn story (not exactly for that line and scene) since I first posted this query, so I will keep hoping that eventually we may get more.

It was hard to find much - I googled it, got some links, and from there searched on ao3 for CA fics with the tag Uniform Kink (which was mostly kink for Bucky's uniform) -- this is what I found - you've prob seen these already (have not read these, just they look rtyi):

Thanks for all these links. None of them were exactly what I was hoping for, but at least I got to see what people were doing. I wish I was better at writing porn, it might not seem so terrible to write what I want to see, but…it's always a lot more fun when someone else does it.

It just makes no sense to me that there aren't literally hundreds of stories based on that. The few that are there don't even take place after the line gets spoken-- they take place before that, except one.
