Make up my mind for me!

I have, right now, about five different stories careening around in my tiny walnut sized brain, and I don't know what to write. I'm paralyzed by too much information. I have the beginning of a very intense (I hope) and pretty experimental Spike/Buffy piece that kind of haunts me. Then there's this Miami Vice thing I talked about writing for those rude ingrates feochadn and movies_michelle, not that they would appreciate me for it and lavish me with gifts of sacrifice and fruits and vegetables. Then there's this Wes and Spike thing I keep toying with, but feel fearful of writing because they do nothing, and because the pointlessness of it scares me. And then there's the next unwritten chapter of the WIP hanging over my head, not to mention the incredibly stupid Magnificent 7 story that I want to rip off from an old Bonanza ep.

I have no idea what to do, so you decide for me. I think I know pretty much which way this will go, but help me out here, peeps. I can't keep all this crap in my head for long, it'll be gone with the wind, yo, if I don't write down at least something. And that's the last attempt at sounding cool I'll ever inflict on you. And if you want to explain the reason for your vote, feel free.

I love Miami Vice and would swoon over a slash MV story by you, but really, please write what feels right to you when you know what that is. I made the mistake of not doing that for too long, and it got me nothing much good.

If you really are haunted by #1, your mind will always drift back to it until you write it. As you did with heliotrope. Maybe you need to scratch that itch before continuing "Measure", or any of the other fics.

I almost voted for the experimental S/B, and hope you really do write it someday. I'd read it, no doubt. But I'd like to see some of your shorter work, and I'm curious how the conversation would turn out.

I think my biggest problem is that I don't know how to write short. I was talking about this with monanotlisa the other day, that I seem unable to do anything reasonably compact. I can't even imagine doing these... flashfics or drabbles or whatever things are that people do. Some folks manage to create something powerful in a small space, and then there's me... blah blah blah, on and on. I admire them, but it's a skill I don't have.
