June already?
Jun. 1st, 2004 10:18 amFirst of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to
morgandawn!!! I hope it's a great one, and come August we can have belated birthday cake in Chicago, okay?
Second, just a reminder that there is new Queer Eye for the Straight Guy tonight -- the start of the second season, whoo hoo! I'm very excited to have something that will take the sting off just a little bit from losing my Angel. Bravo is saying new eps through the summer, so let's keep our fingers crossed.
Third, I've been checking through the info to see what's coming up in summer, and this one looks pretty bad for non-reality TV fans. Usually we can count on one or two things drama- or comedy-wise (which Fox or whoever will promptly cancel, as with American Embassy and Keen Eddie), but the only thing that looks hopeful to me is Rescue Me on FX. Looks like someone might finally have hit on the right vehicle for Dennis Leary's peculiar charm, and I'm definitely going to give it a shot. (Besides, the commercial uses one of my fave songs ever, Bowie and Queen's Under Pressure, so they've already won me over a bit.) So might be worth keeping your eyes peeled for when it begins airing.
