Horrible horrible terrible bad day and no time for anything, but all I can say is, to any fellow MI-5 (Spooks) watchers out there -- holy freaking canoli, we have to wait HOW long for a resolution to this story? Arg!!!

They certainly know how to do a cliffhanger on this show. I'm completely hooked and adore Tom, and I don't know how I can hold out. I must cutlivate some British friends who can provide me with episodes once it starts airing over there again, because there's no way I can wait for god knows how long before A&E might show it over here.

Are there any places to get pretty Tom icons? I can't imagine there's much of a following, and I'm totally graphics impaired...

I haven't heard anything yet about a new season of Spooks in the UK, but I have found the British versions on bittorrent, so hopefully once new eps start airing there, they'll show up on BT.

I'm really grateful to A&E for giving US audiences the chance to see this show.

Someone told me the other day that they are filming or getting ready to film. But it's going to be forever before it airs, and then... who knows if A&E will be able to pick it up? Aiieee... now that I'm addicted, I worry. And I can't do show downloads, so I'll probably have to pop up on your doorstep and beg for copies. ;-)

BTW, the packaging for the first season set of discs in R2 was realy cool. I'm hoping that we'll get a R1 version now that they've shown them all so far.

There is going to be an R1 release under the MI-5 name, but I think they will be uncut. I think I read spring. :)

According to the BBC's web site (http://www.bbc.co.uk/drama/spooks/) there is a new 10-episode season in production, set to air in 2004. So hopefully A&E won't be too far behind.

Ooooooo, nice! I always love a man with a gun. ;-)

I'm deeply ashamed to admit that my two favorite Tom moments were in the second (?) ep, when he was all bloody and beaten, and Zoe came in and "rescued" him, when he looked up at her with that agonizing look, and the one last week, when he was crying in Christine's arms. It's so embarassing to realize that you like your men best when they're bleeding and completely utterly broken.

Third series is filming, afaik, and this is a MI5 community spooky_doings
(though I haven't visited for a while).

Well, I feel certain that Harry isn't dead. And... maybe a boat came and picked up Tom. Or like Christine commandeered a CIA helicopter. Or something.

See? I can make up anything if it makes me feel better. Denialand is a good place to live.

I'm certain that Tom escaped on a submarine and the whole thing with Harry was a set-up, so of course Harry's not dead because it's all fake!

I just haven't figured out why yet. *g*

All though at times, I do like to think in the complete opposite direction and pretend that it's all true because that would be even more pain for Tom.
