OMG. Went to the store at lunch and saw the new issue of Vanity Fair, with Viggo on the cover. And tons of photos inside. Gurgle. ::dies::

I'd followed Viggo's career a little off and on long before LotR, and I feel this gives me the right to say: The man gets more and more gorgeous every year. Age is improving him constantly. I think he's actually prettier now than when I first noticed him. There's one picture in the magazine where he's wearing a high-necked black jacket that just... holymarymotherofgod.

And a picture of him in jeans and a... white shirt! Carrying his cowboy boots, and frolicking with a cute Shetland pony... The man is just to die for.

Is it next Thursday yet? That's when I'm schedule to go to RotK. Be Thursday, now!

It's amazing what I end up watching for Viggo.

I have seriously secret GI Jane shame, too. I will, no doubt, watch Hidalgo, and I sat through the re-make of Vanishing Point, which I've heard sucks in comparison to the original.

So, does this mean I have to buy the VF or should I just wait for clever people to scan in the pictures you described?

Hey, if I had a scanner and all the software, I'd buy it, even though I'm very poor this month. But alas, I have no way of doing it. But I'm sure some besotted fan must be doing it as we speak. ;-)

I saw the original Vanishing Point in the theatre (yes, I'm that old), and I remember it kind of sparking my car lust in a big way. I even thought Barry Newman was kinda cool, which... go figure. So it was tough to warm to the remake, but Viggo was just... guh in it, so that made it a lot easier, plus, hey, Peta Wilson from La Femme Nikita was in it!
