I'm catching up on months' worth of digests for the Mac-based editor's list I'm on, and someone sent this URL in for us to enjoy.

I have to admit, it never occurred to me to think of the Mac as satanic. Clearly, as is true of so many things with computers, I'm missing out on all the fine details. As I've spent the entire day struggling to make a web-viewable copy for the first time of a vid I've made, and getting nowhere, I've been focusing on the wrong details. It's Lucifer, and he's in my computer, and that's why I'm having trouble. My eyes aren't cued in to the demonology symbols. I wasn't a long-haired hippie, so I'm not attuned to these Darwinistic tendencies. Well, now we know why all the computers on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel are Macs. So there.

And now I'm desperately wishing I had a copy of tzikeh's Apple icon.

Hmmmm.... I'm beginning to understand why my family shuns me... I got my first Mac in 1988, after using one at work for three years... and I am a pagan... and, dear god, that was funny. I'm weeping with laughter. thanks so much for the link!

Hee! Thanks for the link. My best friends (married to each other) have both gotten PowerBooks within the past two months. I sent them the link to the story and informed them that they're both going to Hell. I want a PowerBook so bad.
